Port Denarau Marina, Fiji

I had the pleasure to stay in your very well maintained marina. And I want you to know that you have one of the best harbour master with Ali I ever met. He takes control of moorings and berths, supports any customer with personal effort or best connections to supporting people and is always very very friendly to all sailors. See you again on my way back from NZ next year on my way back to Germany 🇩🇪

We recently spent 6 weeks in the Denarau Marina on our journey from France to Australia on our Catana 47, catamaran " Angels Wings". I would like to commend your Marina as the best and most enjoyable Marina that we have stayed at since we left France in 2012. We enjoyed the complex of different restaurants and shops and spent many happy hours at the Rhumba. I would like to commend the staff at the Marina office but in particular Ali ( Elias) was outstanding in his service to us and his ability to make the best of a sometimes very chaotic situation, so that everybody was happy. We had only booked for two weeks but ended up staying for 6 as we had work done by Baobab Marine which took several weeks as we had to import parts from New Zealand. Ali helped us immensely in ensuring that we were able to be on the jetty when we needed to and be on a mooring in between times. We were immensely grateful for his ability to shuffle things around to help us. Once again, thank you for a very enjoyable stay and when we come back to Fiji, we will come direct to Denarau as it is definitely our favourite port. All the best to you and your staff and may you enjoy continued favour with the cruising community.

I want to thank you and your entire team at the marina for the wonderful stay that we had there as your guests. Denerau Marina is a first class physical facility , well designed, built and maintained. However it is your people that set it apart and distinguish it from others. We were met with politeness , expertise and excellence by all staff . I do however want to single out Ali , who went above and beyond expectations , anticipating needs and resolving problems. He was consistently superb. Thank you once again , you head up a really great team. Please pass on my sentiments to your colleagues .

I just wanted to say thank you to the marina staff for such a great experience. We have cruised Fiji on our Yacht Hijacker over the past few years and have always enjoyed and appreciated the assistance given us by both Ali and Mere.  It is great to see Ali in the office now and appreciate all he does to accommodate our needs. And Mere has also been a pleasure to work with over the years. I would also like to mention the friendly dock staff. Always friendly and welcoming. Anyway, I just wanted to say thank you and look forward to seeing everyone there next season.

Thank you for a wonderful stay at Denarau Marina - it was a luxury to have unlimited freshwater to wash down the boat and to have access to excellent laundry and shower facilities. But the friendly helpful reception was legendary and typically Fijian. We have thoroughly enjoyed our time in Fiji and are very grateful for the sensible strategy adopted by the Fijian government to facilitate the Blue Lanes system. Cheers Liz
