Cardo supports big race

Cardo, the restaurateur, has provided another $10,000 sponsorship for this month’s ANZ Auckland-Port Denarau yacht race.

Cardo had already provided the space on the first floor of his bar and grill at Port Denarau as the temporary venue for the Denarau Yacht Club.

This will be the centre of all the activities during the race and the location of the awards night.

This is where the President’s Cup will be awarded to the line honours winner of the race by the President, Ratu Epeli Nailatikau.

The club is now operating and is the gathering place for enthusiasts every evening at sundown. Here the latest arrangements and fine tuning of the entertainment for the social side of the race are discussed and finalised.

All visitors are welcome to the club and a full bar and grill service are available.

Cardo has been a supporter since the very first President’s Cup was held in Denarau, where he provided a bar service beside the temporary moorings. He has supported every regatta held on Denarau since then.
