Community Support @ Port Denarau Marinas
As part of Port Denarau Marinas corporate responsibility we work hard to assist in the local community through sponsorship and assistance. Below are the organisations and charities that we actively support:
Mamanuca Environment Society commenced with our Oceanlovers Program with lots of enthusiasm and excitement and have had very good feedback from the communities. More
Oceanlovers is on a mission to share adventures inspired by the ocean and to protect one of the earth’s most important resources. More
Eight million metric tons of plastic winds up in our oceans each year. That’s enough to cover every foot of coastline around the world with five full trash bags of plastic. It’s hard to believe but there is more microplastic in the ocean than there are stars in the Milky Way. The Pacific Ocean covers half of the world’s surface and is the largest ecosystem in the world. Home Base for Sea Bridge One
When the South Pacific’s premier Superyacht facility and the International Marina of the Year (2015-2016) offers to berth your 35m vessel for free, provide your non-profit organization with free office space, and provide as much storage space as needed to stage your disaster response equipment and aid, you say ‘yes’ and ‘thank you’ very quickly. With no strings attached, that is what Nigel Skeggs, Director of Port Denarau Marina (Fiji), and his staff are providing Sea Mercy. More
I wanted to let you know that Port Denarau Marina has partnered with Sea Mercy (a US and Fiji based non-profit charity) of which I am now an overseeing trustee. I am very passionate about this organization not only because of the incredible programs it provides the thousands of “at risk” remote islands in the South Pacific, but for the amazing role that the international yachting community gets to play in each program.
Port Denarau Marina are proud to be associated with Marine Reach who have a long and successful history of medical treatment in distanced communities within Fiji. If you are able to assist in any way please feel free to talk to us or to Marine Reach directly.
MARINE REACH is part of YOUTH WITH A MISSION (YWAM)-an interdenominational and international mission agency involved in over 180 nations with a full time staff of approx 18,000. All in the organization are unpaid volunteers.More

Its Time Foundation replaces diesel generators at remote island schools with solar power. Your act of kindness will allow schools to spend their limited money on books, computers and other resources rather than fuel.
Imagine a school having 20% more education resources for the next 20 years – that’s what these systems can do. Constant power and night study are a bonus!
Your generosity will leave a legacy for a generation of children.More
