Nigel has been the driver of many developments that you see today at Port Denarau Marina and has been instrumental to the development of the Yachting Industry, MSAF regulations and Sea Mercy (a US and Fiji based non-charity).

The Marina Industries Association (MIA) has announced the first Fish Friendly Marina accreditations in the UAE and the South Pacific. Both Jumeirah Beach Hotel Resort Marina and Port Denarau Marina Fiji were approved as accredited by the MIA Board in early May.

A NEW Yamaha Denarau Service Centre has been opened by Asco Motors at Port Denarau, providing easier access to boat engine services for shipping and boat owners at the marina.
Toyota Tsusho South Pacific Holdings Pty Ltd managing director Yoshiaki Kato said the new centre would ensure all their customers would be able to access their services at the marina.More

South Pacific nations band together as one cohesive superyacht destination.
Friday 26 June marked the official launch of South Pacific Superyachting.
South Pacific Superyachting sees Tahiti, Fiji, New Zealand and Australia promote the region as one cohesive destination, in the way that the Mediterranean and Caribbean act as large cruising grounds beyond the borders of the nations that form them.
On Saturday the 16th of May 2015 the new Denarau Yacht Club and The Rhum-Ba were officially opened by His Excellency the President of Fiji, Sir Ratu Epeli Nailatikau. Officiating the proceedings in front of a packed house of government officials and distinguished guests, His Excellency commended the owners, Mr Mike Dennis and Mr Nigel Skeggs for their commitment to Fiji and the outstanding building that was a result of a lot of hard work and collaboration by various parties.
The Rhum-Ba and Denarau Yacht Club will be the premier Restaurant, Bar and social club not only in the Western Division of Fiji but in Fiji as a whole.
