- All Ship Masters, Ship Owners & Ship Agents for foreign & local ships, Pilots, Port Management Companies/Operators, Marinas and Yacht Clubs are advised of the passing of Tropical Cyclone Tino away from the Fiji Group.
- Marine clearance for all ships has resumed.
- Masters and Owners of all Ships are advised to take all the necessary precautionarymeasures towards the safety of your ship and continue to listen to the weather bulletins.

SHIP MASTERS & SHIP OWNERS – PRECAUTIONARY MEASURES AND PREPARATIONS FOR THE APPROACHING TROPICAL DEPRESSION
- All Ship Masters, Ship Owners & Ship Agents for foreign & local ships, Pilots, Port Management Companies/Operators, Marine and Yacht Clubs are advised of the Tropical Cyclone Alert in force for the Fiji Group.
- Tropical Depression TD04F, centre 998HPA was located near 11.7 South 173.4 East or about 410 kilometres west-northwest of Rotuma at 1200 hours today. The system is moving east at about 10km/h.
- Small boat owners are advised to take necessary precautionary measures to ensure their boats are safe.
- Marine clearance for all ships will cease with effect from 0001 hours 17th January 2020, except for ships more than 15 metres between Denarau, Lautoka and the Mamanucas Group until further notice.
- Ship owners must provide all necessary support to masters of their ships and exercise good judgement to ensure the ships are kept safe during the passing of the system.
