There are several planned exciting events for the Western Division this year.
Following on from the incredible Fiji 2011 International Jazz and Blues Festival the 2nd festival is now officially announced for May 10th – 13, 2012.
Stunning Port Denarau, Fiji, rocked for four days last May with an estimated 2000 people through the port for the festival alone.
Port Denarau Retail Centre general manager, Aysha Koya comments: ‘We have never seen the port like this, it was a great experience for our guests and our center’.
Nigel Skeggs, CEO of Port Denarau Marina shares the enthusiasm: ‘It can be safely said that never since the day we opened have we seen so many people here, dancing and having a great time – we can’t wait for the next festival’.
Musicians from around the world will again travel to Fiji with a line-up that includes stars of the jazz and blues worlds from Australia, New Zealand, England, the United States as well as Fiji’s own incredibly talented local bands according to the Fiji 2012 International Jazz and Blues Festival.
The former CEO of Tourism Fiji Josefa Tuamoto puts it like this, ‘This is a spectacular event which helps to cement Fiji’s status as the hub of South Pacific tourism as well as showcasing the world’s friendliest airline Air Pacific and our greatest asset Our people’.
