Pelorus Jack Sailing, Snorkelling and Fishing trips in Paradise commenced operations under Aussie Couple Graham and Sue Dooley who have resided in Fiji for the past 7 years and holidayed in Paradise for 20 years previous with their family. It has since found its operations under new local owners.

The Dooley’s felt with so many years experience as tourists in this country they should have a great knowledge of what the tourists are looking for in a day cruise. So 6 years ago PJ’s Sailing & Snorkelling Adventures was born with the purchase of Pelorus Jack. Two years later they realised that the tourists also wanted to fish, Island hop and in need of transfers to the outer Islands and purchased the vessel Watchdog a New Zealand Ramco a great boat for either fishing, Island hoping and transfers. Early this year another vessel was purchased Milika 11 a 28 ft Islander ideal for fishing.
Pelorus Jack is a 50ft ferro cement yacht that has sailed around the world, then spent many years in Auckland NZ, before sailing to Brisbane Australia, where Pelorus Jack was purchased by 3 Queensland Business men, who sailed the yacht to Fiji, that was 8 years ago, and Pelorus has been sailing the Yasawa and Mamanuca Group of Islands ever since .
Pelorus Jack was a famous Dolphin in NZ which guided boats through the dangerous waters of the New Zealand Channels hence the picture of a Dolpin on the bow.
The Company has grown over the past 6 years and is now known as PJ’s Sailing, Snorkelling and Fishing trips in Fiji.
