Port Denarau Marina in conjunction with Tourism Fiji was once again part of the Monaco Yacht Show which was hosted at the iconic Port Hercules in Monaco from the 26th to 29th September 2018. The event is the world leader event for superyachting and has been hosted since 1991. Port Denarau Marina has been part of this event biennially since the past 8 years.
This year there were three participants at the show from Fiji, Cynthia Rasch, General Manager Port Denarau Marina, Nigel Skeggs, Director Port Denarau Marina, and David Johnson, Tourism Fiji UK representative.
Every year, the Monaco Yacht Show exhibits over 120 exquisite superyachts and megayachts. The four days targets yacht owners, superyacht purchasers, decision makers in the yachting and luxury market who participate in one of the most influential business networks on Earth.
Also known as the Yachting Mecca, the Monaco Yacht Show houses approximately 600 leading companies in the industry: ranging from superyacht builders, top yacht designers, reputable nautical suppliers, the best yacht brokerage, to high-end tenders and water toys, prestige cars, helicopters and private jet manufacturers.
The show benefits from the support of His Serene Highness Prince Albert II of Monaco who opened the 28th Monaco Yacht Show.

The event was fruitful for the marina and Fiji as we showcased Fiji in the tourism arena associating us with values of exclusivity and prestige while giving us the opportunity to meet new international prospect and network with our current contacts in an exceptional environment amongst the most prestigious in the industry.
The marina was also able to establish contacts and discuss future yachting events to be held in Fiji before and after America’s Cup.
Port Denarau Marina looks forward to being part of this worldwide exhibition dedicated to Superyacht Lifestyle in 2019 in a bigger way as we continue to be Fiji’s premier marina and a favored destination by visiting superyachts.
